1st Gloucester Meeting

We had our first meeting for the Gloucester thing, this week on Monday.

It was great, we had been talking to Dave and Paula 4 weeks ago and they said there were 4 families committed to this Church Plant, when we turned up there was about 30 people there. It was a really great mix too.

We had a great time, Dave shared about the vision of the church, and we had a time of Worship & Prayer. I really felt at home even though most of the people i hadn't met before. It felt like another confirmation from the Lord. That this was where we were ment to be.

I get excited everytime i think about it. I think my wifes words summed a lot of this up. When we were driving up to Cheltenham 4 weeks ago. She was praying for insight from God for her on the whole issue on us moving to Gloucester and on the stereo came "There must be more than this" by Tim Hughes and those words echoed in her mind then shared with me later what she had heard. and that has been my cry to the Lord for some time now Lord There Must be More Than This.

It felt really good to be at the beggining of something. Something that i know the Lord will Bless.
